VISAKHAPATNAM: Special prayers were offered at Masjid-E-Quba at Muslim Thatichetlapalem here on Saturday as part of Milad-un- Nabi celebrations and inauguration of the newly constructed Gumbaz (dome) at the mosque.
A festive atmosphere prevailed at Muslim Thatichetlapalem with illumination done at the entrance to the colony that resembled a small village with some buildings, a few huts, open spaces, narrow cement roads and borewells.
The festivities concluded with a community feast.
